I would like to extend my greetings and congratulations to the respected admins, moderators and all the users of the Steem for Bangladesh community on the occasion of the dewy winter day. The wonderful contest Contest 4th Edition: My Unique Recipe organized by the respected moderator of the Steem for Bangladesh community @solaymann brother. I will share my competition entry. In this unique recipe contest, I invite my friends to share their unique recipes with us @lirvic @crismenia @dequeen.

In my unique recipe today, I have brought a sweet made with Lachcha Semai. This is not a traditional sweet but it is very delicious to eat. Sweets are very important in the Bengali food. Sweets bring perfection to Bengali food. Sweets made with this Semai are no less than those in the shop. It is possible to make and serve these sweets in a very short time when entertaining guests.

Sugar | 1 cup |
Grated coconut | 1 tablespoon |
Cinnamon | Quantity of |
Cardamom | Quantity of |
Bay leaves | 2 Pis |
Orange food color | 1\4 tsp |
Ghee | 1 tsp |

â I prepared all the ingredients required for my recipe. Then I put a pan on the stove and poured the laccha semai into the pan. I stirred the semai on low heat for about a minute.
â Now I prepared the semai and made a small space on one side of the pan and added a spoon of ghee. Next I added cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaves to the ghee. After frying the cinnamon, cardamom, and bay leaves with the ghee, I stirred the semai continuously and fried it with the ghee.

â After frying the semai with ghee, I added two spoons of powdered milk to the semai. Then I stirred and mixed it with the semai.I then transferred the cooked semai to a another saucepan with ghee.

â I now placed the pan on the fire and added the sugar and coconut flakes. Then I added water with sugar and coconut flakes. In the water, I also added orange food coloring, bay leaves, cardamom, and cinnamon.

â When the sugar-mixed water boils, I add a few drops of lemon juice. Then I cook it for some time on medium heat. When the sugar-mixed water becomes sticky, I add the fried semai.

â After that, I mix the water with sugar and stir the semai. The semai mixture will boil well and the water will dry up. Sometimes I use a spoon to stir the semai so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.

â Once the semai mixture's water has thoroughly dried, transfer it to a bowl.Spread the mixture throughout the bowl so that it cools quickly. When the semai mixture is slightly cool, remove the cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaves used during cooking from the mixture.

â Now to make the sweets, I took a little semai mixture in my hand and pressed it and shaped it into a lollipop. Then I rolled the sweet powder made from semai in milk and kept it in a bowl.

â I made all the semai sweets in the same way. Then I served the semai sweets I made in a bowl.

I love eating sweets very much. The laccha semai sweet I made were consumed. It was very delicious to eat. Everyone in my house gave me very good reviews after eating my sweets made with semai. You won't believe that such beautiful sweets can be made with semai unless you try it. My boys especially liked the Lachcha semai sweets. From now on, I won't need to buy sweets from the store. I will make semai sweets at home with few ingredients and entertain my guests.đđ¤
