Betterlife with Steem - The Diary Game | 14/05/2024 | Today I am collecting mangoes from my tree and having a nice day with delicious food.

Starting with greetings and respect. I'm @jebanikajeba, from Bangladesh. Dear Steemians, I wish for everyone's wellness. Alhamdulillah, I'm also good enough. Like every day, I woke up early this morning, and after praying for Fajr, I went for a walk on the roof of the house. The sky was overcast this morning. I liked to see the cloudy sky very much, because the Cloudy sky reminds me of many good memories.

Then, while walking around on the roof, I saw that several mangoes on our mango tree were ripe and red, and these ripe mangoes looked very beautiful. These ripe mangoes are delicious as well as fragrant. After seeing the mangoes, I came down from the roof and had breakfast.

Then I cleaned the house and helped my mother to cook. It's been cloudy and raining since the morning, so I asked my mother to make khichdi for lunch. We Bengalis love eating khichdi on such days. Then my mother cooked khichdi with rice, dal, potatoes, and tomatoes. I made several types of bhartas to eat with khichuri, like raw mango bharta, spinach bharta, potato bharta, lentil fritters, and roasted meat. Then I had a tasty lunch with all these favourite items.

I was feeling sleepy after having my favourite meal in the afternoon, so I took a nap. Then, after waking up and saying the Asr prayer, I took my mother with me and collected the ripe mangoes from the tree. As our mango tree is adjacent to the roof, it is very convenient to get mangoes from the tree. The mango tree looked so good that I took several pictures of them. My mother and I have collected almost a bucketful of ripe mangoes.

Then my younger brother brought me a vanilla-flavoured cup of ice cream, I am an ice cream lover, so I ate that ice cream very happily. Then my mother boiled sweet potatoes for an evening snack. Boiled sweet potato is very tasty food, and my family liked it, so we all ate boiled sweet potato. After eating so much, I have a craving for tea, so I drink a cup of milk tea.

Every year, we give the ripe mangoes to our neighbours. So this time, after Maghrib prayer, I went to my neighbour's house and gave him some ripe mangoes. Our neighbours also love to eat the ripe mangoes from our tree, and they are very happy to receive the mangoes. Actually, sharing something with everyone is a different kind of happiness.

Then I prayed to Isha and had dinner at night with flatbread, bhaji, and roasted lentils. Alhamdulillah, I spent the whole day at home like this very happily, and it was nice to share my activities with you.
