Allah Ta'ala does not keep everyone in the same financial situation. The rights of the impoverished belong to the wealthy. Wealth grows as a result of donations. Both public and private donations are acceptable.

✅ What is your opinion on whether charity should be done publicly or secretly?

In our Islamic religion, if you donate with one hand, the other hand should not feel it. But there is no obstacle to presenting openly. The point is that public giving is acceptable if more people can be encouraged to give by giving publicly. But if someone donates publicly to show himself as a rich person, then his donation has no value in the sight of Allah. But charity in secret is preferred by Allah. That's why it is better to donate secretly. It earns a little more of Allah's pleasure and reward. We present because the poor person benefits, and we can gain the pleasure of Allah.

✅ Why do you think that this way of doing charity should be adopted?

Allah does not give an opportunity like sharing to everyone. Those who are in such a condition that they can give to someone, it is Allah's infinite mercy. The purpose of giving charity is only to gain the pleasure of Allah. For this, Allah will provide us with a good reward. Therefore, I am giving charity if Allah knows it is enough. And there is no need to inform anyone and donate.

✅ Is there any benefit or social impact to charity in this way?

Charity is one of the essential parts of our life. How will the helpless, poor people live if they don't donate? The donation has a substantial impact on society. It is built by contributing various educational institutions, mosques, temples, hospitals, and other social structures. The livelihood of helpless, orphans, physically ill people, children, and older adults who cannot work depends on many donations. In addition, there are many other benefits. Have to donate.

✅ Who should be prioritized for charity?

In all other religions, including our Islam, it is said that charity should start from home because many of our relatives are in poor financial condition. It is not a good thing to give outside to your people. First, you should give it to your relatives. It will benefit the relatives as well as deepen the relationship. Our hadith says that a person who does not have a good relationship with his relatives will not go to heaven.
Donations should be made first to near relatives and then to neighbors.

Finally, by donating, one gets peace of mind. Donating has many personal and social benefits, whether made secretly or publicly.
Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam. Fitra and Zakat are paid in this month of Ramadan. May Allah grant us all the grace to give. Amen.
