The Diary Game [Wednesday 01/03/23] : Thorough Preparation to Welcome Guests to the Company

Assalamualaikum Dear Steemians

May you be in the protection of Allah and ease all affairs. Today I will write a short diary which contains my daily activities at the company where I work.

It all started in the morning....

At the beginning of March, of course we all open new stories. Usually the company's employees smile at the start because they just finished payday. But we are not employees, we also have the right to smile and be happy for the blessings and grace that God has given us. That morning at 08.00 WIB I went to work after all the equipment for work was ready and it only took 10 minutes to arrive at the company.

As usual, every morning, as I often do, namely morning briefings with working members. The theme that I took that morning was Working at Height. I urge all members to always use full body hardness when working at heights, if it is underestimated it will have a dangerous impact on workers because we can fall and get injured. Instill in all of us to work in accordance with occupational health and safety procedures.

At 10.00 WIB I received a call from my boss, Mr. Bernando Sirait, where he asked me to help him put up banners at workshops 1,2,3 and 4. When I got there I saw the safety members had gathered and it turned out that not only I was called but all of them. Then we divided the tasks, me, Pak Nando, Pak Haris, Bestle and Putra put up the banner at workshop 01. This is our custom every time we have guests who want to visit, we prepare the company environment as good and neat as possible.

In the afternoon the weather started to get cloudy and it started to rain. The entire company area was flooded with water. At that time I was monitoring under the ship but when it rained I took shelter in a blue tent which was not far from the ship that I was supervising. Their workers feel uneasy if it rains because they cannot work, the daily progress results are not being caught up. Even if you hear reasons like that, you still shouldn't work when it's raining because of the danger of electrocution to exposed wires, this is a matter of life, you can't be playing around.

As soon as the rain started to subside, the workers then continued their work that was left behind earlier. I toured around the ship and saw workers operating cranes to lift materials and arrange them neatly. I informed their team leader to be careful and when lifting the material, don't stand under the material being lifted, there is a danger that the plate will fall on it if it is released and for those who are arranging the material, be careful it gets pinched.

Then I'm back to controlling my own members on the ship. They are doing an Air Test. This Air Test is the work of checking for leaks in the tank with pneumatic pressure coming from a compressor with a pressure of 0.2 bar, the hazard associated with this work is Explosion. Corrective action is by way of safety reports, installing safety lines and ensuring other workers do not do hot work around the area.

Exactly at 17.00 WIB we all went home and I went straight home. When I got home I rushed to take a shower and get ready for the Maghrib prayer. After finishing the prayer I eat rice with a makeshift side dish and continue the evening prayer. Then my activities continued at home, I just played with my cellphone, opened WhatsApp, Instagram and watched funny videos on Tik Tok until I fell asleep and immediately rested.
