The morning dawned with a sense of freshness, as I arose from slumber ready to embrace the day ahead. It was my dear friend, excitedly informing me of their plans to visit the new market for Eid shopping. With eagerness, I awaited their arrival.

Shortly after noon, my friend arrived, and together we ventured into the bustling market. Amidst the vibrant array of stalls, we rekindled our camaraderie, catching up on the events of our lives since we last met. Amidst the laughter and shared stories, my friend expressed concern about the safety of the market, citing recent fire incidents in other shopping malls.

In response, I reassured them of the stringent safety measures in place, highlighting the comprehensive CCTV coverage and the regular checks on fire safety equipment. The presence of modern staircases alongside traditional ones served as further reassurance of the market's commitment to safety.

With peace of mind restored, we delved into the joyous task of shopping for Eid. My friend meticulously selected sarees and three pieces for their wife, while their son eagerly browsed through an assortment of shoes and sandals for his sisters.

Together, we also stocked up on daily necessities, ensuring a sense of preparedness for the days ahead.

As the day waned and the call for iftar beckoned, I extended an invitation to my friend to join me in breaking the fast. Gathering around the iftar spread, we shared not only food but also moments of warmth and connection, deepening our bond of friendship.

Following iftar, we proceeded to perform the Maghrib prayer, a solemn yet spiritually uplifting ritual. With prayers offered, we returned to the market to tend to remaining tasks before heading home.
