SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"
Hello all steemit friends wherever you are, good afternoon and best wishes always to everyone... On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Steem For Bangladesh Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 17 Week 1 with the contest theme: "Season of My Country"
Every country in various parts of the world has different seasons every year. So we often hear that in a country there is winter, winter, autumn and summer. However, things are a little different in my beloved country, which only has two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. Seasons are phenomena in the atmosphere that occur at certain times. I am one of the many active steemians who come from my beloved country of Indonesia, precisely in Aceh Province.
Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in Southeast Asia, which is crossed by the equator and is located between the continents of Asia and Oceania. Our beloved country, Indonesia, is known as a transcontinental country, and is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate which only has two seasons in a year, namely the rainy season and the dry season. These two seasons always come and go every year and provide their own benefits and have advantages and disadvantages.
The dry seasons and monsoons that we experience every year also have positive and negative impacts on the environment. The rainy season provides water which is important for plant growth. Rainwater hydrates the soil, allowing plant roots to absorb the nutrients necessary for optimal growth. However, sometimes the rainy season can also bring various problems in life. Too much rainfall can cause environmental damage due to flooding.
Between the two dry seasons and rainy seasons, which always occur every year in our country, each has its own benefits and drawbacks. It became a dilemma for me to choose one to spend my life with. In fact, it would be impossible if you had to choose one of the two. Because the rainy season and dry season are important and I need both seasons. If there is a prolonged rainy season it will also disrupt my activities, and vice versa.
One of the most common activities people do in the rainy season is going down to the rice fields or gardens. The land in the rainy season usually becomes fertile so it is the right time to plant crops, especially since people in my country are active as farmers. For people in urban areas, the activities carried out may be different during the rainy season. While continuing to work according to their respective jobs, residents in the city prefer to spend time enjoying a cup of coffee. In the dry season, when the sun shines brightly and the sky is blue, many people feel enthusiastic about doing activities outside.
Coffee or tea is the drink most often enjoyed by many people in my country when facing the rainy season or dry season. Plus various snacks as snacks to accompany you while relaxing while enjoying the rainy and dry seasons. Especially during the rainy season when the weather is quite cold, a cup of hot coffee will warm your body. For various fried foods such as fried bananas and fried noodles, they are the right choice.

Good to know that your country has two seasons. Basically two seasons are important. Summer and winter. What happens in your country and that you mentioned. I like your point that both seasons are important. In fact important seasons can never be omitted. One is important to the other. One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are four seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but I nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. Indonesians enjoy activities like farming in the rainy season and indulging in hot coffee and snacks in both seasons.
