Hello my good friends welcome to my blog it's a new month I wish you all a happy new month hope you are all doing good so today in this contest is all about national flag which I will be sharing my national flag with you all.
Is there any history behind th formations of your national flag? If do what happened?
Yes, Nigeria is the name of my country; it is the most populated in Africa. The following is a history of the formation of my national flag.
In 1959 thats when Nigerian flag was created and raised for the first time on the first of October 1960 after gaining independence from British colonialism. And among thousands of entries submitted to a national contest for choosing this design, three vertical stripes represent green, white, and green.
Moreover, Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi who was an electrical engineering student at that time created the winning entry as well as being a Nigerian citizen; therefore he said that more than anything else; this shows unity peace and prosperity for our nation after getting freedom from them (British).
What do the different colors or symbols on your national flag represent.
The national flag of Nigeria, which is my home country, has three vertical stripes; two green on the sides and one white in the middle. The meaning of this color are that green stands for nigerian's natural resources like fertile soil; while peace among different tribes in Nigeria is represented by white which also means unity.
How does your national flag represent your country on the world stage?
Nigeria is a big country and it’s also called the giant of Africa, therefore Nigerian national flag represents the nation globally with its unique design and symbolism; thus on global platforms, this banner stands for Nigeria’s freedom as an independent state among other nations while also signifying her right to self-governance through international relations such as attending conferences or sending ambassadors abroad but not only that even more so still this same flag serves as a strong symbol being very important in showing who we are as people and what we stand for as well also it acts like some kind of badge which shows that Nigeria is here among other countries worldwide.

A flag is certainly not just a piece of cloth. When a flag is made out of a cloth it is honored and sacred to the people of the country. How many battles have to be fought to achieve this flag that made history. I have learned the story of the creation of the flag of your country Nigeria which was collected through a competition. The national flag of a country is not just an ordinary cloth. Rather it is a cloth that is more expensive and respectable than hundreds of crores of rupees. Because it highlights a country in front of the world. Before the country, the flag highlights a country. In 1971 after 9 months long war our brave boys of Bengal snatched the flag of our country from the invading Bahini. I wish you well in this competition. Keep the good work.
