Alhamdulillah, I am also good and healthy.Today I am here to participate in a beautiful contest that I like so much, and this beautiful contest was presented to us by my brother, @msharif. I really liked the topic of his contest, so I am participating in it today.

At present the environment is under threat. This is the dire state of the environment today because of our daily mistakes. The most talked about topic nowadays is the environment. People all over the world are now under threat. And one of the causes of environmental pollution in our country is excessive use of plastic or polythene products. So saving the environment has become a very important task now.

Have you ever been engaged in cleaning the environment of the area? If so, how did you manage them?

I have been working to save the environment since I was a child. There is a brother in our area who is a very nice hearted person. He would take us with us every month to clean the streets and around the houses in our area.

We all used to go to the field on Fridays and he would play with us and after the game he would start cleaning the environment with us. And at the end of work, he used to tell us some conscious words, the importance of which I now understand.Now I myself collect garbage from around the house, especially polythene and plastic products and burn it.

What steps can be taken to keep the environment clean and save?

We can save the environment by following some simple rules and procedures.

• We throw garbage everywhere, especially around the house, in drains, ponds or rivers. A lot of garbage is dumped in these places every day and we should stop it first.

• There are things that we can reuse but we throw them away without using them. Which is also wasteful and polluting the environment. So we should reuse these things.

• We use motorcycles or motorized vehicles to travel short distances without necessity. In order to pollute the environment with fuel. We can save the environment by avoiding it if we want.

• We cut down trees to build houses but never plant new ones. We should plant two or more trees instead of cutting down one tree.

• We waste electricity and the impact is second only to fossil fuels because coal, gas, fossil fuels are used to generate electricity. And while collecting these they are polluting the environment excessively, So we have to prevent wastage.

• We all know that industries are one of the main sources of environmental pollution. Care should be taken to ensure that the waste material does not go directly into the river water.

How is it possible to make the general public aware of keeping the environment clean?

If you want to make people aware to save the environment, first you have to clean the environment yourself and many people will be interested to see your work. After that we can go to an area one day by forming small groups and do environmental conservation work and raise awareness among the people there.

We can use school students to educate a large number of people. We can form a team and implement various school programs to make them aware of environment conservation. Besides, we can make people aware by providing different types of programs and awareness posts on different social media.We have many clubs in every area who work as a team so we can make people aware by there help.

Do you think it is our duty to keep the environment clean and tidy? If so, how would you play a role in this?

It is the responsibility of each of us to preserve and develop the environment in a beautiful way. Just as we have the right to enjoy the benefits in our society, it is the responsibility of all of us when the environment of the society is threatened. Just as we keep our living rooms clean, our environment is a place where we all come together. So if the environment is good then we all can live together nicely. So I think it is our basic responsibility.So I will prepare myself to save the environment first and do small things like planting trees, reducing the use of plastic bottles and polythene products, and try to reuse them if possible.

If our areas are clean, what benefits can it bring us?

If the environment is clean, the most benefit to the people there is pure oxygen which is very important for human life. Besides, the environment is clean, the amount of diseases will decrease, people will get healthy and nutritious food. Birds are a big part of the environment, so if the environment is clean, their habitat will increase in number and help to maintain the balance of the environment.

Water is another major part of the environment, so if the environment is clean, the water will not be polluted and as a result people will be less affected by water borne diseases. Most of the people in our country are affected by water borne diseases. So if the environment is clean, people will get less water borne diseases. So I think it is very important for all of us to keep the environment clean.
