Namaste my all dear friends! Welcome to my post. Today I am here to participate in this Steem Engagement Challenge Season 17 week 1 in this
Steem For Bangladesh community. The topic of this challenge is about "Season of My Country" So let's start without any more delay of time.
Here in India, our weather's like a Bollywood movie – full of drama, a little unpredictable, and totally entertaining. We don't just have seasons, we have a whole vibe shift every few months!
How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why? |
---|
Officially, it's Four Seasons, But We Do Our Own Thing
The weather folks say there's winter (think cozy sweaters, December to February), summer ( mouthwatering mango season and escape the heat, March to May), monsoon ( lots of rain, June to September), and post-monsoon (think kind of like summer's little helper, October to November). But honestly, many of us follow the old-school, six-season calendar – two months each, keeping things interesting.
Summer Love (and Maybe a Little Hate)
I love summer so much! There are fresh mangoes everywhere, specially the green mangoes with black salt and red chilli ,I can smell sunscreen in the air – it's amazing! But, let's face it, sometimes it gets super hot. In May, I'm staying indoors with a tall glass of cold buttermilk (it's seriously the best) and dreaming of rain.
If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, which one would it be? Explain the reason. |

Monsoon Season:-My most favorite
The first showers of rain make humid everywhere and breathing becomes quite difficult, and after that those heavy downpours can mess with your plans. Still, there's something magical about curling up with a hot cup of masala chai with "garma garam pakode" while the rain beats outside.I specially love the smell of the soil after rain it smells heavily. Monsoon become more magical if we are with our loved ones.
Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season. |

Festivals for Every Season

Our festival season start with monsoon we also called it as" sawan " this season is fully dedicated to lord shiv then haryali teej , rakhsha bandhan , Janmashtami, puri rath yatra , ganesh chaturthi and many more but one thing i can surely tell you that we Indians know how to celebrate every season! Onam, a harvest festival in Kerala during the monsoon, is a riot of colors and fun. People decorate their homes with gorgeous flower arrangements, have giant feasts, and even race boats! It's basically a monsoonal party.
Is there a special food or drink that people in your country enjoy more during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why? |

Food for Every Mood
And speaking of feasts, Indian food is all about seasons. Steaming cups of masala chai keep us warm in winter, while chilled lassi and fresh fruits are our summer saviors. Sesame sweets in winter? Yep, those help keep us healthy. Basically, our taste buds get a seasonal celebration too!
India's weather is a thrilling rollercoaster, celebrated for its ever-changing landscapes, diverse cuisine, and vibrant festivals. It's a dynamic journey filled with exploration and cultural richness, cherished by its people.
So it was very interesting topic for me and I invite my friends to participate in this contest and share his opinions with us @jyoti-thelight , @chant and @dove11

Hello friend
You shared how much complicated your time and season in your country could be, but you later explained that you live the summer due to the fruits and enjoyable produce you receive from nature. You detest the rains as there are lots of times it could mess with your plans and make you have a bad day. All the same you got me intrigued and interested in your article. Success in the challenge my dear friend
Great job, you have described every season in detail. I must admit that I love winters more than summers though so I try to spend most of my summer time in the Himalayan regions.
Hello dear @deepak94
From the delightful mango season of summer to the magical monsoons. Festivals and traditional activities add to the cultural richness, while the diverse cuisine reflects the country's seasonal bounty. India's climate truly offers a thrilling rollercoaster ride experience for its people.

Indeed, the beauty of India lies in its diverse seasons, each with its own charm and significance. Whether it's the joy of spring with festivals like Holi, the warmth of Diwali during autumn, or the celebrations of various other festivals throughout the year, there's something for everyone to cherish regardless of personal preferences. Our rich cultural tapestry is interwoven with these seasonal festivities, making each season special and unforgettable.

India's weather is a thrilling rollercoaster, celebrated for its ever-changing landscapes, diverse cuisine, and vibrant festivals. With traditions like celebrating festivals and enjoying seasonal foods, India truly embodies the spirit of diversity and liveliness.
You really love the monsoon season in your country because of the smell of the soil after rain. In my country, I enjoy the smell from the soil when the rain drops after dry season, it gives the scent of a clay. When the rain drops, I'll always feel like licking the soil. With the look on your face and that of your family and friends, you really enjoyed the Holi , festival in your country. Your country indeed is a great one.
