I am really aspired by this contest and I am happy to be part of this contest, I will do my best to write a reasonable article about the given contest.

Explain that water is the only life

Water is any liquid substance which possess the following qualities of being colourless odourless and tasteless liquid.

Water can be referred to as the only life because it cannot be replaced with any other liquid substance,it is also used by all living things without water humans and living things could have been dead long time ago, water is also seen as an essential liquid substance over the world that is not to be abused. Water can be classified as the only life because, 75% of the earth surface is been covered by water and 25% of the earth is been covered by land. This should tell you that water is very essential to life.

Do you think drinking water is decreasing day by day?

For me dour drinking water can gradually decrease day by day if the drinking water that is also used for other important things are not been conserved this may lead to the continuous decrease of water day by day. Change in weather can cause water to decrease on a daily basis because, when the raining season is gone we them proceed to harmattan during the month of December, November, and January respectively after that we now move to the season known as the dry season,in this season rain becomes scarce and this reduces the amount of water in the previous seasons and can lead to decrease in the supply of water day by day.

Water can be lossed through the inappropriate maintenance of pipes and tanks of pipe borne water.

What steps can we take to conserve drinking water and prevent wastage?

We can conserve water by the following;

• The continuous recycling and treatment of used water.

• conserving water by the the regular examination of burst pipes and getting them repaired regularly.

• Avoiding the act of throwing in contaminated substances which may be solid or in liquid state into water bodies like the oceans,rivers,seas, lakes and ponds like garmaline 20 and other chemical substances which are harmful to the human internal organs.

• preventing water pollution in the environment.

Where can we get water for drinking when the ground water is depleted?

We can get drinking water from other sources when the ground water is depleted through the water bodies like rivers and ponds and seas and can also get water from the rain fall which is known as the natural water or the Virgin water.
