"Papercraft Contest📢 : You show us your skills by creating anything with paper"

Hello Stemians hope you are as good as I am. I appreciate @mdkamran99 and Steem For Bangladesh for organising this beautiful contest. I love creativity so much and participating in this contest has given me another opportunity to explore my skills of creativity.
Today I will be constructing a rose flower with paper and I hope that you will like it.

A flower as defined is a fragile blossom that has petals and grows at the top of the stem of a plant. It is also the part of a plant that produces seeds. In life generally, a flower symbolises love, joy and pleasure though It can also carry other meanings depending on the colour of the flower.

✅ Present your paper craft to us in at least 6 steps.

The material used for my papercraft

• Red embossed paper
• white A4 paper
• Scissors
• Top bond
• pencil
• Eraser
• 15cm rule

Steps of my papercraft construction
Step 1:
I cut 8 pieces of square shape of 12cm by 12cm from the red embossed paper and then another 8 pieces of square shape of 9cm by 9cm from the white A4 paper.

Step 2:
I fold each of the paper into two equal parts and then draw my flowers on them and cut them accordingly. This paper shall serve as the petals of the flower

Step 3:
I make each of the pieces of paper I cut fold a little bit with the help of my finger and scissors. After that, I cut the bottom of each of the cut paper into two. I crossed a little and gummed it together.

Step 4:
I cut the base of the flower which is octagon in shape because my flower shall have eight (8) petals. After cutting the base for the red and white, I started gumming the petals one by one on both the red and white bases.

Step 5:
At this step, I completed the gumming process of both the red and white petals. I also gummed the white flower right inside the red one.

Step 6:
I cut a small red paper into pieces on the top with scissors and then gum it on the white layers in the flower as an anther and stigma.

✅ How did you get the idea of ​​making paper craft?

I got the idea of making paper crafts from my Fine and Applied Art teacher during my Secondary School days and then improved on it from the decoration unit of my church.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the paper craft

Honestly speaking I felt very excited doing this paper craft knowing fully that I had never done it before. I got tired at some point but I was able to do it to the finishing.
