A fair is when many people gather at one place for social, religious, commercial, or other reasons. We feel joy when we hear the word "mela." Mela means union. Exchange of ideas with each other at the fair. A fair is usually held in a aprominent place where there is movement of people. There are many types of fairs. Pahela Boishakh is the biggest fair in Bangladesh. It can also be called a national-level fair.

In this fair, the bearer of the tradition of Bengal The culture of the rural community is closely connected with the fair. In this culture of Bengal, there is a combination of cultures of people of all religions. A fair is organized in the meeting area of some villages or an open field. Rural life comes alive around the fair.

Yatra, puppet dance, Nagordola, Jari-Sari, Ramayana, Gambhira Kirtan, Palar Asar, Bullfight, Cockfight, Lathi game, and Hadudu game enthrall the visiting visitors in the village fair. Still, Nagordola is a significant attraction for people of all ages. Different dramas or processions are also organized at the fair.

International trade fairs are the most modern addition to our culture. This fair is held every year in any big square in different districts with different products from home and abroad. At the fair, we have daily-use items, luxury goods, and almost all types of electrical products. This fair boosts the expansion of our trade, which is very important for our economy.

A month-long industrial and trade fair has started in Dinajpur. Seventy product stalls have occurred at the fair in the country and abroad. Also, there are different rides, including Nagordola Charki, for children's entertainment. There are spectacular grand entry and exit gates. Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim inaugurated the 17th Industrial and Trade Fair in Dinajpur and spoke as the chief guest.

The Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized this month-long trade fair at Dinajpur Gor-e-Shaheed Bara Maidan. After the inauguration, a discussion meeting was held at the fairground. Some of our friends went to the Dinajpur International Trade Fair on the evening of the opening day.
