Another name for water is life .Water plays the most effective role in the existence of the living world. Water is the second element for sustaining human life after oxygen. Water supplies oxygen and other nutrients to human blood and cells. 25 percent of oxygen in the human body comes from water. Water not only quenches our thirst, water fills 80% of our daily caloric intake. Of all the foods we eat throughout the day, water is the only one that is free of calories, fat, sugar and sugar. The importance of water cannot be expressed in writing.

Yes of course we should prevent water pollution. Day by day the whole country is feeling the shortage of fresh water because we are wasting the good water day by day. Pollutant chemicals from industrial plants, various pesticide fertilizers used in agriculture, broken parts of ships, oil, mobile, oily products (which are directly dumped into rivers) are the main causes of water pollution. Also, the oily waste of small and large factories, printing presses, toxic chemical dyes of textiles, water used in garment factories, highly polluting chemical wastes of tanneries etc. are constantly mixing with the river water and polluting the water. Finally, if we want to live, we must prevent water pollution.

If the Earth runs out of food and water, no animal will survive on Earth, no plant will survive, and no plant will survive. Because from the water we drink every day, water circulates in our body and we live, just as plants collect water through their roots and live, if water does not exist on earth, then the animal world and the living world will not survive.

We can keep water pollution free in various ways and prevent water wastage we just need to raise our awareness. We should stop massive water pollution to protect groundwater. And the main areas of water pollution are rivers, seas, etc. Therefore, it is essential to prevent the mixing of all types of solid, domestic and sanitary wastes in rivers and streams to protect surface water from water pollution. To prevent water pollution we can take various steps to raise awareness in every village, village, district, upazila and divisional level to prevent water pollution.
