Assalamu Alaikum, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your life. First of all, I am grateful to The Steemit team for giving us a new week and a new engagement to write and share our thoughts. Thanks to Steem for Bangladesh pCommunity for this beautiful contest. Let's share our thoughts on this topic.
Science has helped build a great civilization. - What is your opinion on this matter? |

Yes, there is no other opinion that science has created a revolution in this world and has completely changed human life. If I start talking about the contribution science has made to human civilization and the impact it has had on human life, then huge articles can be written on it. I will explain this in a simple way.
So let me say that the two essential things for human beings are food and treatment. Today the world gets food thanks to science. If science did not invent modern farming methods, today even a few grains would not be available to chew, whereas today even a poor person eats meat.
Going back a few decades, meat would be cooked at home when either someone was sick or the chicken was sick. Just a few decades ago, people used to die only from stomach aches. While today, thanks to science, not only the famine has ended, but thanks to the treatment, life expectancy has also increased.

If we imagine that there is no science in this world, there is no intervention, then our world will be the same as it was a thousand years ago. Let's see what the whole world will be like in that era. First, imagine how the earth will return to its original state.
It is obvious that all factories and offices will be closed, cars, airplanes, computers, machines, electricity and all oil-powered items will be inoperable, food will change, people will not interact with each other.
There will be silence and its condition will be somewhat like it was in the days of COVID. And people in ancient times, man also lived in caves like animals and hunted and ate like them, man did not even invent a language. The thought of life in the Stone Age today makes people shudder.
If you could ask a famous scientist one question, who would it be, and what would you ask? |

Stephen Hawking is currently the greatest scientist in the world after Einstein. He is an expert in physics and mathematics and all the great scientists of the world consider him as their guru. He has also worked in astronomy. He has talked a lot about black holes, so I asked him a question about black holes.
👩🔬 My question is if one clock is on the ground and the other is a standing black hole. And if the time of both is the same, will there be a difference in the time with the passage of time?

One of the two major advantages of advanced life that we see is the travel by ship & Aeroplane and the other is the development of medical science. Thanks to the ship and Aeroplane, man has seen the entire surface of the earth.
In the same way, medical science is another name for miracles. If there was no progress in this field, humans would die from small diseases like animals. One aspect of advanced life is art, painting, sculpture, poetry, music, story, drama, dance.
Obviously, the man of the stone age was not familiar with all these things, so we can say that the civilized world is better than the stone age, at least because of these three things.

We are grateful to science for bringing us so many modern and great changes. We are constantly guided by science. Without science we would have been in a situation which would have been miserable for our lives. Science has perfected us. I agree hundred percent with your post that the most important thing for human life is food and treatment. Science has played a very important role in the field of agriculture due to which today food is easily available to all of us.
In every era, new diseases have come due to which people have lost their lives. If science had not progressed in the health sector, today most of the people would have been victims of epidemics.
