Steem Inspiration Contest //The Pandemic Story by @Benson6

The pandemic known as Corona Virus came on board 2019 December and it was like a job when it became it destruction on people 2020, it was nickname Covid19 and is one the deadly diseases to ever emerged here on earth.

Pandemic as fondly called took it toe on different things which I will love to highlight some of them here.

Sport
The pandemic for the first time I know of a disease that could put sport stand still. All the leagues all over the world was held still just to follow up the covid19 protocols and if fought wanting or branching the rules, you could be fined. Euro 2020 that was supposed to kick off last year was postponed to this year and all thanks to the pandemic. Fans do not have access to the stadium to see live games and support rep their different clubs but all thanks to the pandemic.

Education
Schools were closed down to reduce the spread of the Covid19 virus. I remember vividly well that on the 29th of March was the deadline vive to schools here in Akwa Ibom to close and this affected me as a teacher back then and I work in the private sector whereby the pupils school fees were used to pay us unlike the government sector that were still benefitting during the lockdown.

Irrational Thinking
Some people here in Nigeria were killed because of intensive thinking without contacting the virus and the rate which the virus was spreading especially in Italy made people fearful and stay put in their various houses and this led to depressions and early suicide which some couldn't bear the tempest and decided to go the land of no return.

Churches
Church were declared closed and this made some worship through the Internet and this alone made me realize that going to church doesn't really count compared to when we show our fellow human being the road to success or share update when we have one due to the fact churches keeps on increasing but still yet, no love found and all thanks to the Covid19 pandemic.

Hardship
This period display alot of things how people could barely eat and some died because of the hunger and not the virus itself. Things were really complicated but one word that kept me going was the word, "young lion shall suffer and lack but those that trust in me shall never suffer nor lack",despite the intense lockdown I was still feeding pretty fine with my family and love ones out there.

Lost of jobs
Alot of people lose their job in term some companies like julius berger here were trying to reduce the number of workers, so they cut down some people. I lose my job also and thanks to the Covid19 Pandemic. Some companies for the first time started running shifting to minimize the number of workers in the office in a day. For me, I started something during that period and that is when I came to realize that skill acquisition pays any time,any day, just be devoted.

I will say the Covid19 was good neither bad because it change some people mentality and made people delved into businesses,skill acquisition and manner of out approach changed. The Covid19 pandemic is an eye opener for everybody and though different measures are taken to combat this deadly pandemic but God is still God.

Nothing last forever even the money you have today without involving people will vanish and begin to hate yourself but when love and harmony is in place, nothing will take us unaware and for the main reason we are still alive till today is enough to prove that no single of hair from our head can be uprooted without his approval and I pray no premature death should be out portion during this pandemic.
