STEEM NIGERIA WEEKLY COMMUNITY SUPPORT UPDATE

Good afternoon from Nigeria. We in the STEEM NIGERIA are excited about the various developmental strides happening in our great community. Thank you to all our moderators @samsuccess @hopeofgod @prechyrukky @lovveday @idyeyo and @orracle.

It was @hopeofgod that brought the idea of pushing in our support to the community account to build up steem power, which will be used vote for quality contents.

The support from @booming01 is highly appreciated, but we are working to put our house in order to cater for the teaming number of our content creators.

We would have applied for a support from @steemcurator01, but we are not qualified in terms of a support system on ground. Thus, all hands are on deck to ensure we take the community to a desired height.

This past week, we have seen tremendous support from community members. Almost all the content creators are supporting our curation account @teamg-nigeria with 20% of their reward.

We hope that in few months to come and with the consistent support from @booming01, we will stand out strong in terms of curation.

Another area we are developing on is contest and community engagement. We have a weekly contest going on and everyone is free to join. Moderators take turns to host one contest a week. With the growth in the community in few months to come, the number of contests per week will increase.

On recruitment, @samsuccess have been holding seminars with university students on how to blog on steem. He will be giving us updates soon.

We are planning hold some mini training for newbies as they come into the platform. That way, we can be sure they are equipped with the basics on Steem before they join the newcomers community for their tasks.
