I glad to participate in this contest. I really appreciate @idyeyo for organizing this contest. Honestly, I will love to be a president but only time can tell. Let's dive into the matter.
INSECURITY
The security situation in Nigeria has become very big and shameful thing to government. If I were the President, I will first investigate the source of the problem. Only if want know the source of a problem that is when we could tackle the problem. It is good to investigate and identify its source causes.
Know fully well that some factor like unemployment, corruption, imbalance, weak judicial system, open borders, high influx of arm, narcotics, slavery, criminal situation, and terrorist threat are the faction affect insecurity in Nigeria.
What I would do if i was the President of Nigeria consigning insecurity
Unemployment
Students who graduated from the University and didn't a job could engaged in crime. As the President of My country. I will create new job people and build many company for people to get employment. As well as create entrepreneurship jobs for citizens of the country.Corruption
Corruption has turn out to become a part of life in the country. As the President I will get raid of corruption among politician sponsoring evil art.Imbalance
Some part of the country have different speed of development. Because of this, this country's oil rich regions feel troubled when the federal government use their oil and does not develop their society. This people feel cheated because of that. That is the reason they vandalize oil pipeline. As the President my country, I would find a significant way to balance the development of all states of the country.Weak Judicial System
A lot people feel insecure when criminals and terrorist set free without proper justice. As the President of my country, I would way to make sure the judicial system works perfectly.Open borders
Our country borders are poorly guarded. Terrorists from neighboring countries can infiltrate the country with no problem. As a President of my country, I would put good and competent securities in our borders to secure the country border.
BAD ECONOMY
I was the President, i would diversity the economy and make agricultural practice the main stay of the economy as it use to be. I would also lift the ban on the importation of some essential commodities. I would find to get raid on corruption practices and agreed among stakeholders which is affect the country economy. I would empower our legislation against corrupt practices. I would come up with a formidable economic policy that would curb the continuous decline in the country forestall the present hardship been experienced in the nation.
POOR POWER SUPPLY
If was the President, I would do some certain things.
Study advanced Countries
I would send a team of engineers to the advanced countries to understudy their method of power generation and supply.Public/Private Collaboration
I would find a way to provide a synergy between the public and private sectors to cushion the effect of poor power supply in the country.Renewable Energy
I would make their i renewable energy, in form solar power and make it spread to general public.Upgrade Of Transmission Equipment
I would fix all available power plants and other equipment for the generation and distribution of power.Stop Vandalism
I would stop vandalism of oil pipeline because it indirectly reduce the quality of power generated.
SECESSION CALLS
I was the President, I would find the people who are seeking secession what they want and try to solve their problems.
YOUTH RESTIVENESS
There are some factors that leads to youth restiveness, they are lack good governance, corrupt practices, lack of quality education, employment and so on
I was the President, I would provide information for the youth and find solutions to factors causing the problem and also infrastructures. I would also information because plays is fatal role in wealth generation.
