Promoting the Steemit community

I must confess that I have been on several platform but I am still yet to find an interesting platform such as steemit.

What is steemit about?
Steemit is a social blogging platform where you write and are paid for it. It is a blogging platform with a difference. It functions the same way as Hive, other blogging platforms.

In steemit, the content creator (the person writing) is paid when their article is upvoted and the people who curate (those voting) the best content on the site are also paid by upvoting their work, furthermore the platform is built on a new kind of digital currency called steem, which can be traded and powered by steem blockchain. If you have heard of bitcoin, then this a future version of it.

ABCs of steemit registration?
Registration into the steemit community is free and can be done on http://www.steemit.com/

Click sign up
Fill in your e mail address, click am not a robot and then click continue
You will need to confirm you mail by clicking on the link that was sent by steemit
Return to the sign up page and continue
Confirm your mobile number
Select country, phone number and click continue
A confirmation code will be sent to your phone
Fill in the code and click continue
Fill out account name, set password and create account.
