Good day steemians it another wonderful contest that gives everyone the opportunity to write on a particular topic. Here is my own post for the contest😉

Have you ever been privileged to be a follower?

Yes, I have been opportuned to be a follower on many occassions. Some I followed wholeheartedly and some I followed grudgingly. I think it natural though because life does not always throw at us what ever we wish for, so we tend to react

DEFINING MY LEADER

General knowledge of the person.

My leader named Mrs ify Adams was my Sunday school teacher and the head of children department in my church. She has a daughter who was also in the children department. She is a leader with talents on instruments. She finds her self among the choir and she plays the keyboard (piano) like a diva, plays violin and sax but I have not seen her playing the drum.

She teach us the Bible using pictures and real life situations. She taught us how to interpret the Bible as we read it and taught us how to memorize Bible verses. Apart from her social life in church, I don't have any idea who she was outside the walls of the church.

What they like about you.

Uhmmm, I really admired my leader (Mrs ify Adams) because of the way she nurture us in the ways of God. I was always the listening type and the one who answered most questions she throws at the children. I think she liked that about me. I was surprised when she called me out and made me the children prefect.
I got to teach the children sometimes as she gave me the opportunity. She really liked the fact that I was following her steps.

What they do not like.

One thing she don't like me doing is making fun of those children that were slow at learning. When she caught me in the act one day, she punished me real good. We don't really have too many bad side as we are in the presence of God. We try to always obey the 10 commandments😆😆

What they will like to change.

On this, I don't really have any idea. But i think it should be my use of foul language(pigin). We were doing a playlet one Sunday and I was mixing both English and pigin in my words. The church clapped at the end of the presentation as expected. she came to tell us welldone and told me to practice English Language other than pigin

What they will like you to improve upon.

My leader usually told me to improve on my teaching skills as am not able to carry all the children along. She observed some children are often left behind as when she asked them questions they can't provide answers. Again, she advices me to use English in my everyday communication rather than using pigin..

In conclusion, my leader(mrs ify Adams) was the best Bible teacher I had in the church. Until I graduated into the big church. I don't know if you can tell a good leader by just knowing one face of her life. But the face I know impact on me positively and that's a good thing..
