WHAT DOES YOUR FRIEND CYCLE SPEAK OF YOU?

I want us to know what friendship is.

Now who is a friend?

According to English dictionary a friend is a person other than a family member, spouse or lover whose company one enjoys and towards whom one feels affection.

A friend should be someone you feel comfortable with whenever he or she is around. Meaning you can appear simple when they are around you.

Simplicity is not by letting people crush you down, not by dressing dirty and looking 20 years older than your age rather it is the freedom from artificial ornament, pretentious style, or luxury; plainness; as, simplicity of dress, of style, or of language; simplicity of diet; simplicity of life.

Being simple in nature sometimes might make you less of importance if your cling of friends are those that boost of every little achievement they've attained, those that boost about how expensive their outfits cost, those that can ride on people's feelings, those that can tell when you are wearing expensive or cheap outfit but really can't tell when you are depressed.

QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF.

What does your friend cycle tells of you?

Can you boldly leave your friends in a room without them gossiping about you?

Are your friends those that always update you about other people's failure and mistakes?

Do they see you as an imperfect person that can as well make mistake?

Can they defend you in your absence positively?

Do they regard you the way you do to them?

Have you ever done something wrong that made them sit you down and advice you?
Or they are the ones that always say if it was me I wouldn't have taken that nonsense.

Does your friends portray the kind of life style of friends you wish your child to keep?

Many atimes we just couldn't answer all these questions because we are scared of being without them. We love them that way even when we know that their company always impact something negative in our lives. But It's better having that one friend with greater vision than having a whole lot of them and still can't confined in them when necessary.

A friend is someone who protects your interest, renders help when needed, Guides you when you are going astray, and not those that encourages you to go wrong.

Some people pretends to be okay when they are around their friends because they wouldn't want to be the talk of the day.

Keeping an enemy close is better than having a fake friend. You wouldn't know what their true intentions are because they always pretend to be okay with you.

Our prayers everyday is to have a friend who will work with us to achieve better and not those that when things starts going bad they will all desert away from us.

Remember in life it's not where you go but it's who you travel with.

I pray may we be the kind of friend whom people will always wish they had.
Again, may we find friends who can travel with us in the road of life.
