the Diary game: 17/04/2021 A memorable day

A memorable day, 17th day of April 2021.
firstly let me tell you a story. far back in 2014 i was opportune to meet a girl by name Ngozi in English the name means "blessing".

when i gained admission into the university of Benin back then we had an election for who was going to be the class rep of our set, Ngozi emerged as the assistant for our set and she did awesomely well as a girl
most people feel some positions shouldn't be left for ladies but for me i believe who the cap fits he/she should wear it, she actually did a fantastic job at that

she would always joke with everyone and most especially she was available when needed by anyone in class which was a seldom thing for someone occupying such position in school

the reason i will never forget this day is because after 5 years of having her as a friend and a class mate i was opportune to witness her marriage ceremony.

i started off my day by going to the sport complex to join my team for the higher institution football league that is set to begin on the 20th of April

soon after i went to take a shower and relax a little and off i went to the marriage ceremony of Ngozi
firstly she is a student in my faculty and she is getting married to a young lecturer in my faculty who happens to be a friend.

the ceremony was a loud one and it invited dignitaries from all works of life, the reception ground looked like what seemed like a reunion for the faculty of engineering student as no body wanted to miss the occasion for anything
i saw friends that have graduated grace the occasion and all hands on deck as from the camera men, the musicians that performed, the master of ceremony were all students from the faculty of engineering

the atmosphere was filled with love and energy and i am glad i didn't miss it for anything

i hope i have a day as wonderful as this when the time come for me.
