My magic wand can only solve one task. I will like my magic wand to solve the problem of crime and terrorism in Nigeria. I will talk about the reason why I want my magic wand to solve the problem of crime and terrorism in Nigeria. So, let's dive into the matter.

Crime and Terrorism in Nigeria

Terrorist attacks are at a high rate in Nigeria; specifically, the activities of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen terrorists have increased over the past year. Terrorism is a big problem for the country. Kidnappings, bombing, and other violent acts of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen prevent a lot of Nigerians from feeling secure.

Boko Haram is notorious for destruction in Nigeria. Even casual spectators who do not live in Nigeria have likely heard of Boko Haram's presiding kidnapping of hundreds of children from schools and villages in northern Nigeria.

Kidnapping has turned into a business in Nigeria. We can no longer travel inter-state without the fear of been kidnapped by some folks. The one that happens in June 2017 shocked citizens around the country. In 2017, a notorious kidnapper was arrested by a police group in Lagos.

What is Boko Haram?

I would like to explain what is Boko Haram for those who don't know who they are?

It is a militant Islamist initiative with ties to al-Qaeda, which is been translates into "Western education is Forbidden".

Boko Haram's era of bombings, kidnapping, and shooting was launched in July 2009 but was intensified in 2014.

Crime and Problems of Public Safety

The Nigeria crime challenges give a lot of citizens in this country sleepless nights. In a lot of places, people feel they can no longer walk around their environment unharmed. Public safety is the most basic responsibility of any country, and Nigeria has failed in this regard.

Why is there so much crime in Nigeria?

People engage in illegal and wrong activities when they are disappointed with legitimate options. Lack of opportunity makes them participate in criminal acts, and their deeds make the whole country look bad.

Solution

Instead of allowing consistent unemployment to continue, the government should increase security in the nation and employ youth as security agents.
