The Prince who became a Monk Part 2
The young prince wanted to leave this worldly pleasure behind but he used to love his child and his wife a lot, so he waited for few years as he couldn't leave them.
One night he finally decides to leave but a second thought stopped him and now he wants to meet his wife & kid who were sleeping, but he controls himself because he knows that they won't let him go.
So The prince sneaked out of the palace in the middle of the night.
At the age of 29 he left everything behind he loved.
Now you must be wondering why the young prince was unaware of grief, pain, sorrow, death etc. and why his father never wanted him to see the outside world.
So the answer is, when the queen was pregnant, one day a fortune teller came and he prophesied that the child would either be a great king or a great sage.
Knowing this the king was sad because he never wanted his son to be a sage thus he always kept his son away from all grief.
After all this one night when finally prince left and started looking for attainment of knowledge.
He went to various gurus in ancient India and learned yoga & meditation but still he achieved nothing. That time India was the only place where more than 1000+ processes of meditation & yoga was available.
So The prince kept learning from place to place for years, but couldn't find the answers he was looking for.
He had no food, no home, nothing but a question about life.
One day the god of wealth emerged to him and asked him to all wealth he wants to test him but the prince didn't listen to him.
One day he was about to die, he thought he will not survive now, but suddenly he got up and sat under the tree and started meditation.
He meditated for 49 days and all these years what he learned from gurus finally came into place and he attained the knowledge of life.
Now that prince is known as "Buddha" and the tree where he attained his knowledge is known as "bodhi tree". This place is in the state of "Bihar" ( India ).

Thank you for sharing the (last part of) the story of Buddah. I wonder what came out of his wife and child and if you can be a great king if you do not meet your people.
