Sorbetes : Ang Aking Mango 'Dirty Ice Cream'
Oh yeah! Summmer na talaga... Yung init sa labas grabe na siya. And one of the best way to beat the summer saming mga pinoy ay ang pagkain ng dirty ice cream, eeeewww!!! Why dirty? Uy! Di yan dirty talaga, yummy siya!
Howdy Steemians! First time ko ata mag taglish dito, mas mahirap pala. Haha. Kumusta kayong lahat? Out of my enjoyment s pagkain nitong ice cream at sa ganda ng tingin ko s kanya naisip ko why not make it a piece of writing, to share something Filipino and something na simple lang and grateful ang vibes.
Sorbetes ang tawag talaga sa malamig at matamis na dessert na ito, ice cream ika nga sa english, just like any ice cream you know may iba't ibang flavor siya. Just that, dito sa pinas ayon sa istorya, noong unang panahon daw ay ang mga mgulang talaga ang nag bigay ng ngalan dito na "dirty ice cream! Why? It's to stop their kids from asking money yo buy ice cream from an ice cream vendor who's not wearing any gloves. As simple as that. Pero ending, paborito pa rin siya ng mga bata, even the oldies you know.
Itong ice cream na kinain ko kanina mango flavor siya , bale 20php yan siya and perfect yung cone niya di ganun katamis. Other flavors na available kanina are avocado( which i wanna try some other days), cookies 'n cream and chocolate. Yung sa 2 girls ko they had a mix of choco and cookies 'n cream.
I forgot to take a picture of kuya vendor. Usually the man just push his ice cream cart everyday , wearing long sleeves with gloves, face mask and cup on his head. I salute yung mga gaya ni kuya na naghahanapbuhay ng marangal and even pandemic, he's still providing for his family despite the risk.
Ayun lang muna, natuwa lang ako sa ice cream, and i barely have time to write which is nakakamiss, sana nga makasulat na ulet ako ng tula. Basta yun, anu bang lesson na pwedeng maiwan ko today for this blog. Ah oo! Yung napanood ko kanina not exact words pero the thought was like " You keep looking for what you don't have, that's why you missed out those that you have" . Parang tinetaje for granted naten yung mga bagay na meron tayo, we keep on pushing sooo hard to achieve mostly materials things or fame without realizing that it's really not essential and that the important things are already in front of us.
'Til my next blog...
Sarap nian Sis!
