Hello Steem friends, how are you all? I pray you are well and happy.

Without further ado, let me share with you these wonderful moments I had with my family.

Heavy becomes light when everyone helps, right?

So here we are, helping my mother in the restoration of one of the posts in her chicken cage.

My nephew keeps me laughing

Above are the snaps I took while my folks worked hard in restoring and repairing my mothers' chicken cage. The cage was built by my father when he was still alive and my mother held it dear.

The team we had this afternoon is composed of my mother, my nephew, myself, my sister, and my husband. I only did some help in carrying the smaller cage a little farther from the big one because when it rains, the rainwater from its roof is poured into the larger cage causing it to deteriorate even more quickly.

But what's funny about this work is that the snacks came first before work, and my sister keeps on laughing because she can't force all her strength because she felt too full after having bread and coke.

I was not able to help longer because my kids were going out while it was having rain showers outside. I had to carry him all those times because he really wanted to go and help his grandma and father poke the nails on the cage.

Chicken farming has helped my parents a lot even way back when I am in college. I remember so well that I and my father sells chicken to the restaurant where my cousin works as a chef. I gave my parents enough money to live and provide for the family's needs.

Even today, chickens are also a great help to us especially since the price of table eggs hiked a medium egg already costs 9 pesos. Sigh! Is it inflation of just people taking advantage of the inflation? I mean gas prices is not that high already, and I tell you, Feed's raw materials has gone down even to this day.

Yesterday, I went to the market and was shocked about how little my money has bought. Do you feel it too?
