Burnsteem25 || How I Met My Eternal Companion

After completing a two-year full-time mission, I embarked on a new adventure in my life to find my eternal partner. One of the best ways to find a partner is through your church. It is one of the safest places for singles to meet other singles because it is an environment where people are more likely to share their faith, values, and beliefs with each other since they all belong to the same congregation.

One day I was walking in the hallway of our church when I saw a beautiful woman playing and babysitting her niece. I walked up to her and introduced myself. She smiled, introduced herself and her niece. We started chatting about random things. I couldn't take my eyes off her and I was so captivated by her beauty and kindness that I asked her to go on a date with me. Luckily she agreed and we started dating for almost a month until we became officially sweethearts.

After three months of being girlfriend and boyfriend, I proposed to her and she said yes. It was one of the happiest times in my life. I still can't believe I was able to land a girl like her. She's smart, funny, and sweet. All of our friends think we make a great couple, but I still get nervous when we're in public together. I know she loves me and would never leave me, but it's hard for me to believe that she's still with me when I look at my reflection in the mirror.

It was February 23, 2017, we finally got married after two months of being engaged. I am so grateful for that. It has been such a blessing to be sealed to my wife and to have the blessing of the temple, and I'm so grateful to our Heavenly Father for all the happiness that this life has brought me.

Now we are blessed with one son and a lot of pets. haha :D We had a lot of happy memories together and hope to have so much more in the future. Of course we also had trials and afflictions like normal couples encountered, but our love is stronger than anything else. We are trying hard each day to be true to the covenants we made with each other and with our Heavenly Father.
