Friends and all beloved community moderators @Steemit-Philippines. The discussion for my contest this time is about the effects of the flood disaster which we felt very hard, namely the paralysis of the connecting line in the form of an important bridge as a means of connecting our village with the neighboring village which also collapsed in the recent flood disaster.

On today's occasion, the village side has also realized the initial stages of repairing the bridge. Starting from lifting the body of the bridge that fell into the river by using heavy equipment.

Community participation to witness the progress of the repair process on the first day was lively and exciting, especially among young people who wanted to see heavy equipment in operation.

I also participated in witnessing the process of work on this first day. Because generally the people of my village really hope that the bridge will be completed soon.

In addition to the only access to transportation, this bridge is also a link between the two villages as a means for local people to make a living easily, as a means of transporting agricultural, animal husbandry and so on.

However, the flood disaster in the last few days which was caused by continuous heavy rain, drained the foundation of this bridge and fell to the bottom of the river and resulted in the body of the bridge breaking and causing an obstruction to the flow of the river due to the body of the bridge falling into the water.

It's been more than a week now, my area in Landa has been raining heavily, in addition to the main bridge connecting our village which was the victim, a very large area of ​​rice fields where the rice grains are almost ready to be harvested have also sunk.

The community could only surrender to what had happened, fortunately a quick bridge was handled as a little antidote to the hearts of the grieving community. However, regarding the rice plants in the submerged rice fields, they do not know where to complain other than to God Almighty.
