#club5050 - @SteemitPhilippines | “Jamik Babut Taqwa Blang Dalam Mosque”
Friends and all moderators of @SteemitPhilippines, on the occasion of this happy day, which is in the atmosphere of the blessed month of majesty, namely the month of Ramadan. I @teukuipul87 will share the history of my village mosque which is where we, the community, carry out worship every day and night.
“Jamik Babut Taqwa Blang Dalam Mosque” is the pride of our community in five neighboring villages. This mosque was originally built in 1915 where the first renovation was in 1932 which was still a wooden building, and the second renovation was carried out in 1960, this is where the previous community had made a mosque building with concrete materials, then it was renovated again in 1984 with the expansion to the side and the front. As time goes by and the population is getting denser, the renovations were carried out again in 2019 and until now the process is still ongoing.
The Jamik Babut Taqwa Blang Dalam Mosque is located in Gampong Blang Dalam Tunong, Nisam District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Which is currently dealing directly with a "MIDI" Islamic Boarding School which is only adjacent to the village road.
This mosque is the target of the local community in carrying out routine worship every day. Especially now that our people are storming the mosque to pray Tarawieh at night during this month of Ramadan.
Even though the condition of the mosque is undergoing major repairs starting from expansion and elevation, the people's enthusiasm to continue worshiping in the mosque deserves a thumbs up.
The mosque construction committee and the whole community have agreed and are looking for ways so that the renovation of the mosque construction is attempted to be completed in 2022.
The five villages that are sheltered in the Jamik Babut Taqwa Blang Dalam Mosque are:
- Gampong Blang Dalam Tunong
- Gampong Blang in Geunteng
- Gampong Blang in Baroh
- Cot Mee Village
- Cot Mambong Village
In the stagnating economic condition of the community and the lack of assistance received from the government, the construction of the mosque is slightly hampered by the pace of construction. Helping hands and donations from all of us is very much expected along with sincere prayers so that the renovation construction runs smoothly.
