Steemit Philippines Community Photography Contest Week 4 | Theme: Black and White Photography ( September 13, 2021 ) "Night Changes"
May felt like a decade ago. June felt like a speed of light. As for July , August and whatever month we're in now, it's pretty much time is running so fast- those weeks, months and even a year have melted into a repetitive loop of unremarkable void.
Living in time like this is quite a time to be alive, It doesn't really feel like it is normal anymore everything is just different from before. I can't believe that we are A year in a half now in lockdown, Time flies so fast yet sometime it feels like it's not moving at all and I don't think it will ever be the same again.
There are so few silver linings to the Lockdown of COVID-19 pandemic, but free flowing road in Metro Manila is certainly one of them. Espanya Boulevard is known to be one of the most busiest road in the Philippines especially in the rush hours. Looking at it now It is so different from before, No more over crowded bus stops, less honking of annoying buses and the sky got a lot clearer.
Living in Metro Manila for almost 10 years now, I have never seen Espanya Boulevard this free from traffic jams, I have even witnessed a few minor roadside accidents. It's always congested with cars, bus, vans, motorcycles and crowds of people. And now it's almost empty.
I was passing thru Padre Campa's overpass and took a picture of it. Usually before you can't just flex your phone in the street because of the snatchers but now .. you can, because there's no one in the road and in the street. It is safer now.. I think.
But it does not like feel like Espanya anymore. It's very different kind of vibe now, I dont know why but I am Missing the presence of students from different kind of Universities, the smokey air from the pollution of the traffic, the annoying noise from the road and the squeezing of people in the streets.
Anyways here's the picture I took earlier this evening. Espanya Boulevard looks so peaceful. I kinda hope it stays this way.

Wow! what a view, no traffic, clean street. I hope it's like this on mornings and rush hours.
One of the effects of the pandemic which I think is good, less pollution from vehicles and from people.
