Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #4 | Theme: Black And White Photography: Food Packs For The Kids

Our family is very active in doing act of kindness to our neighborhood, and we give priority the kids before we accommodate the adults. On our latest feeding we prepared food packs for the 65 kids in the neighborhood.

This food packs were ready for distribution, every time we had an event like this we make sure that the kids are following health protocols like wearing mask and social distancing and we teach them before they opened the food packs to washed their hands first. Aside from giving foods we also educate them some simple but very helpful things as they grow, like to follow the instructions and say thank you when they received things from us. We love kids and we want them to grow happy, and we've seen in their faces the happiness every time they were together with other kids in the neighborhood enjoying while eating their foods together. We felt satisfaction in our hearts that upon doing this things it will reflect to them and someday
they will do the same thing to their neighborhood like we did when they grow. We made this activity twice a month, sometimes we cooked chocolate porridge for them or a bread and juice is all enough to them, anything that we can offer to them is a great happiness and can bring a big smile on their faces. We are living in an impoverished community and kids were in need of assistance especially this time of hardships that's why everytime we call the kids for feeding they were all happy and will come on time. All the members of the family help in the preparation of the foods, inside the food packs is spaghetti, dip fried chicken the kids favorite foods and we add rice for them to get satisfied and have a full tummy, it was my uncle cooked the rice and i cooked the spaghetti. The dip fried chicken ready to eat was bought by @georgie84 and @steemitcebu. We had also juice for them to complete their meal. We all help together for this activity. And after the distribution we seen the kids happy with a tummy full playing again in the ground.
