Steemit Philippines Community Photography Contest Week 1_Entry#2 |Theme: Travel Escapade To Dauin (08-04-2021)
Greetings to all! The photo above is another sea trip along Negros Island situated in Dawin Beach Resort which is only few kilometers from Dumaguete City. We opted to choose to be nearer in Dumaguete City with due consideration to my youngest son's job at the BPO. It was in time for their workshop seminar where newbies were given their final briefing. My son was the Team Leader so that makes him free to go to and fro when another lecturer was at hand.
The place gave a tranquil surrounding hence many corporate groups check in to their hotel. We chose to get a cottage outside the hotel since we've already booked a room in Dumaguete. Kids becomes unruly especially when they've started swimming and all the white sands on their butts! Well, my son had to sneek in to the hotel to buy my favorite brewed coffee!
The kids didn't forget to bring their goggles with intention to do some underwater "expedition". They had so much fun diving while granny me was busy with all the warnings for them not to go deeper! Lol!
Of course, we took several pictures as souvenirs. One photo that moved my whole being was the photo above wherein my daughter sent a caption which says "The Last Men Standing (Joke)". As you know, it's a movie title with war story in it. For me, the silent message was there, filled with longing and loneliness to their departed ate and manong.:(
Despite of it all, we still see to it to do the best we can to enjoy the moments we have together. I know for a fact that things will never be the same again. At the end of the day, we still have each and thanking God for all the blessings.

Never been to Negros but i heard a lot of great things to do here.
Indeed my dear. Mountain trekking is one though it's closed to outsiders for now due to this pandemic which greatly affected our city coffers.
Memories meant to remember with family. Indeed a great travel escapade.
