Greetings to all my Kababayans here from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. I'm @saneunji from Visayas and today I'm glad to share to all of you my entry for the black and white photography here in #SteemitPhilippines. A simple and stolen photography I've taken in one of the streets here in Cebu City just using my mobile phone.
Street Vendors Amidst Pandemic
As pandemic surfaced and hit the world into its devastating state two years ago many things had happened up until now. Everyone of us were greatly affected most especially those people who have lost their loved ones and those people who have lost their jobs and their source of income because of the Pandemic. So many things had happened that somehow made us weak and hopeless for a while but it also somehow made us even stronger and more vigilant of our safety and of our families.
We Filipinos are known to be resilient and indeed it really helped us to quickly recover and adapt our current situation. We always find ways to live and make a living to support our family's daily needs. We don't stand still instead we move on and continue our lives no matter how hard it is to survive every single day. Just like these dearest vendors who don't mind the danger of exposing theirselves everyday in the streets especially this time of Pandemic, just to feed their families. Salute to them all for without these vendors it would be also hard for us to get by with our daily needs most especially foods.
For us, the rest of the population who still have our job in the comfort of our home or in our offices, we should be thankful because we are blessed to have what we have right now. When you're out in the street to buy goods always remember to be kind to these vendors because like us they are also trying their best to survive.
