Permit me to say that street food has been a saviour to many. There are people that can't cook or people who feels like eating outside or people who loves street food and the sellers has always been at thier services at friendly and negotiable price. I can remember when I was pregnant the pregnancy hormones made me to reject any food prepared in my house and it was only street foods like this that helped me. The one I will be talking about is our identity there is no way you will enter Uyo on land and you will not notice that this food is famous because you will see it from one pole ,street, junction to another.

The ingredients

.The ingredients for the preparation includes

• Dry red pepper.
• salt
• species(curry,onga,thyme, and others)
• oninos
• fresh pepper

How it is prepared or cooked. (Cooking Procedures)
I have seen where they are preparing this food,so I can tell practically every procedures and they are.

• Killing of the chicken.
• butchering the meat to profitable sizes.
• Pre cooking the meats with different ingredients and seasonings.
• putting them in the sticks.
• Then placing it on the charcoal to dry very well.

I leave in Uyo Akwaibom state Nigerian, and this state is well known for preparing this food. Is a very famous food because it seen almost in every junction and street. And the taste is always different from home made, fastfood joints,hotels,and eateries. It is also comparably cheap. This food is famous because of the availability of plantain and poultry farms in the state. IN Akwaibom there is a government owned poultry farm that sellers buys chicken in an affordable rate. Since is always available on the street it saves people the stress of cooking at home as the can buy it anytime and day. Chicken and plantain are good for the health this also contributed to the rush of the food on the streets of Akwaibom.
