"The Diary Game Season 3 (June 30, 2021)"|| Resbakuna: Couple Goals, Stronger Together!
Good life steemians and mabuhay Pilipinas!
Excitement and nerve of steel was one thing that I needed. This was one of my hardest battle, lol! Anyway I didn't expect that I will be vaccinated because of my fear of needles. I don't like needles at all but because I am a teacher so I did what I must. I got my first dose of Sinovac vaccine.
The day that I thought was just another day came be a historical day because I was able to conquer my fear of needles.
Let me narrate to you the significant events that happened.
Morning
I was very early in school and I asked some of my students to helped me in repainting the chairs. I have repainted the chairs so that it will have a brand new look. As I was helping my students repainting the chair I received a text message that it was my schedule for vaccination. So, I hurriedly called my wife via messenger and asked her if she also got the same message. It was confirmed that indeed it was our scheduled vaccination. My wife and I rushed to the vaccination site.
The long line of hope
The whole morning was spent in waiting for our turn though it was humid but we make sure to always rehydrate ourselves. We constantly supplied our body system with water so that we can handle the vaccination with enough energy.
Afternoon
It was around 1:00 in the afternoon that we were able to get inside the vaccination site which was the "Hoops Dome." Thankfully, the air conditioning was really good despite that there were a lot of people, the venue was cool and relaxing. We had to wait again for another hour as we follow the process. By 2:00 in the afternoon, it was our turn, we went through the four steps:
First, our names were checked and verified in the vaccination registry. We presented our identification card. Then, we were given the vaccination card with our personal information. Second, our blood pressure were checked. Since, I was very nervous my blood pressure went up so I need to wait for 15 minutes to rechecked my blood pressure. It took me four times to get my blood pressure down. What I did I keep my mind busy so that I will think of the needle. I scrolled my cellphone and finally when I was called again, my blood pressure was normal. The third step, we were asked by the doctor about our health condition and our major concern and finally we got the go signal from the doctor. The last step, we were now vaccinated with train nurse. We went to the observatory station and wait for about 30 minutes before we were given the signal to go home. Our second dose was scheduled on July 23, 2021. I got vaccinated with my first dose and happy for the good governance of our City Mayor in making a fast pace vaccination program.
Couple goals, together the stronger
We went home, satisfied and happy. Inviting my fellow steemians to do RESBAKUNA, magpabakuna para sa isang bagong umaga!
Keep safe and be healthy always!
