MY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE-DINNER NIGHT

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE

My first experience in my school, CKT-University of Technology and Applied sciences. It was an enjoyable night. It was a dinner night in my school. That was my first time of taking part in this activity. It was an SRC week in my school. The dinner night was scheduled on Saturday,10th of September 2022.

On this day, early morning, I woke up very early and performed my fajr prayer. I brushed my teeth after that and took my bath. I then prepared myself some tea for breakfast. I had to go to the market for a dinner wear. I checked through my clothes and I couldn’t even find one cloth for dinner.

I bought a long white gown that suit me s as me was looking good on me. I matched it with a red scarf on my head and a red heel. I then held a very cute white bag. The occasion started around 10:00pm but I went there very early at 7:00pm. I taught it will start at that time not knowing they postponed the time. I couldn’t go back and I didn’t know or have any where to go. I just waited outside our school auditorium.

It was a night to choose a queen for my school. We call it Mrs.CKT-UTAS. We had 7 contestants. All of them had the time to show us their hard work and talent. As you can see them on the stage with the two MCs, a male and a female. There were a lot of activities in there, A lot of awards were given out too.

After they all came out on the stage to show us their talents,a winner was chosen from there. They used 60% of the voting and 40% of the performance to judge. At the end of the program, the girl who is standing by the mc and wearing the cloth was the winner. As they announced the winner, she was very confused. She Wasn’t expecting that.

It was getting late and they now started sharing or serving the foods. The food was salad with yam balls. It was very nice and we enjoyed it. I really like yam and how they mixed it the salad was superb. Drinks and water too was added. We had a lot of fun. We sang, danced and enjoyed. That was my first experience of dinner and it was extremely good.
