Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #2: STRONGER TOGETHER

Families are like branches of the tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.

Maganda, maganda, maganda magandang gabi mga pinoy, chinoy at sa lahat ng mga 'noy'. 🤣

So this will be my first contest here in Steemit Philippines and it is so timely because the theme is all about Family.

Basically, I came from a huge clan. We used to have our yearly reunion during December but unfortunately, we didn't had the previllage last year due to this pandemic.

I am so proud to be part of this clan. My grandmother and grandfather raised their nine children well. My uncles and aunts raised my cousins the way they had been raised by their parents. My father raised us with the same virtues and principles.

We argue a lot, but you know what? Whenever na may isang tao sa pamilya na kailangan ng tulong, those hatreds are set aside at nakakalimutan kasi mas nangingibaw ang pagmamahal ng isang pamilya.

We may have our own family right now, we might not be able to see each other everyday but we know in our hearts that our family can fathom every challenges that comes our way.

This picture illustrates an imperfect family but they managed to handle the challenges perfectly. This picture also illustrates the bond that is so strong na kahit anong bagyo pa ang dadating, hinding-hindi matitibag.

This family was the same family who never left my father's side in times that my father needed the most support he can have. They helped us to reach the 200,000php for the implant of my father for his last hip surgery. If given a chance to choose another family? Pipiliin at pipiliin ko pa rin maging myembro ng angkan na ito.

We know that we are Stronger Together because we do have one another. 😊
