Our 12th Wedding Anniversary - A Day of Thanksgiving

As usual this is a late post. 😁 Last December 28 was our 12th wedding anniversary. I give thanks that we were able to reached this year.

It is always our practice when it is our wedding anniversary to worship in the temple whenever possible. Since Jay works at the temple complex, I still need to wait for him to be out from his work before we can go to the temple. He was out at 3pm.

After our temple worship, we decided to eat dinner at one of our favorite restaurant, AA BBQ. Of course our children were also with us and my Papa. It was timely that it was his schedule too to serve in the temple.

Below are some of the food we ordered. I was not able to take photo of the tinolang isda, and the pork liempo.

The food was delicious as always. Our hungry stomachs were filled. 😊 We got a little senior citizen discount by the way. Hahah my Papa is already a senior citizen. And he also gave us money to help pay the bill hahah. 😁 It was supposed to be a double celebration because it was also their wedding anniversary. But my Papa's second wife was not around.

That day was filled with thanksgiving for being able to celebrate another year of love and togetherness. We believe that our marriage is not till death only but for time and all eternity. This is made possible through the ordinances perform inside the temple of our Lord.

I am grateful for having Jay as my eternal companion. Words cannot express how thankful I am for him. And so I pray that we will have many more years together.
