To travel is to learn new things, humans, as we are, are gripped to travel wherever and whenever we can. When our time and resources permit us we would surely go visit various stunning beaches or some breathtaking mountain resorts and more.

God has millions of beautiful places in store for us. And in every chance or opportunity grabbed we surely learn brand new things aside from learning the different cultures of places we would be in or just a little information about the tourist destination we visited.

Just a few weeks ago I and my wife were able to visit one of God’s wonderful creations, which I already had shared with you, if you want to see it you may visit this link.

Tagaytay is indeed one of the favorite tourist destinations of both foreigners and locals. As I’ve mentioned in my previous blog, being in this spectacular place would make you forget your problems and you will surely have your once in a lifetime experience. This is the reason why people would really want to go back there if given the chance.

Now this time I will bring you to a beautiful place just about an hour's travel from Cagayan de Oro City. Why I choose this? Because both places have a lot in common although the picturesque view in Tagaytay is far more pleasing than here in Claveria.

Yes a few days ago we went to Claveria, this is a municipality in Misamis Oriental. Used to be a deserted place (sort of) many years ago, but this time it is a place mostly visited by people who want to relax and unwind, and those who want to commune with nature and feel the cool breeze of the air with that wonderful view of the fogs covering the whole place in a specific time of the day.

I can say it is like Baguio and Tagaytay. And a lot of businesses are emerging in that place not to mention the available lot residences for people who want to build their vacation house or us the place to start their own business.

It’s been a while since we planned to go to Claveria but our schedule differences hinders us until finally, we had a common time altogether.

My wife went on leave, my kids are already one with their school activities, my eldest daughter made herself absent from work and it was my free day.

So here we go, I would really want to share some short videos taken while we’re on the road but I don’t want to upload them on YouTube and there’s no way it can be uploaded here in video format, this is one site feature that I wish #steemit would be able to make it available for the members soon.

Anyhow, we started our journey at around 9 o’clock in the morning, we were not really well-prepared so we had few stopovers like filling the gas and withdrawing cash although we did those while we were starting with our travel.

It was almost lunchtime that is why when we arrived in Claveria our first stop was at one of their famous restaurants. Fogs are starting to form when we arrive there and we really feel the cool breeze of the air.

We were so eager to take pictures before we settle down and order food. The place is indeed magnificent, very relaxing aside from the fact that from there you can see the beautiful surroundings, really a perfect place to stay when you want to unwind.

The service is also good, the food we ordered was served in just about 15 minutes. Even if you see a number of customers around since it was lunchtime, when it comes to serving orders they swiftly served them on time.

After our delicious lunch, we went to another place because the kids wants to try the ATV. Along the way, we really enjoyed the view and appreciated the whole area. I was wishing then to have my own place in Claveria. Hopefully soon.
