I remember it was about 24 long years when I first visited the City of Tagaytay, one of the most sought tourist destinations in the South of Manila because of its mild climate, the city sits on a ridge above Taal Volcano Island which is surrounded by Taal Lake.
That was the time when I first tried my luck for work abroad and while we were applying for a job, and since we stayed in Cavite, we had the chance to go to Tagaytay.
I was so happy that time but unfortunately we were not able to save even one picture, as there was a problem with the camera we used.
Luckily, I had the chance to visit Tagaytay again for the second time, and this time with my wife and with our cousin again as our tour guide.
Thinking about what happened to the pictures we had last time, I ensure that we could have enough phone battery and space to be able to take pictures of the place, as many as we want.
I also brought with me our DSLR camera so we could capture every single view of Tagaytay. Although in this blog I only used pictures taken by my phone, maybe I will create another blog soon using those photos I took using a DSLR camera.
It was last month when I had to fly to Manila to attend a Leadership Seminar. My wife took a leave from her work so she could go with me for a few days' stay in Manila, well, 2 days (only) to be exact.
But even if we only have two days, we were able to travel to Tagaytay and witnessed its beauty.
What I really like about Tagaytay
First is the climate, it's cold there although not really as cold when you are in Baguio but good enough compared when you are in Manila or even in my city Cagayan de Oro.
Second is the magnificent panorama of Taal Lake and the picturesque but temperamental volcano at its center. Truly you would appreciate how God marvelously created the place for His people to enjoy. Being there and being able to see the wonder of God’s creation will make you forget your problems for a while and just chill for the rest of your stay.

Well, we were not able to visit all those stunning places in Tagaytay considering the time left for us before going to the airport for our evening flight back to Cagayan de Oro.
But definitely, I treasured the short time being there, especially because I was with my wife and hoping I could go back there soon with the whole family.
If I will recommend Tagaytay on your possible visit in the future? The answer is YES!

I have been to Tagaytay several times when I was in college, when I was working also at SEARCA inside UPLB Campus ehere we held our Yeam Bldg way back in tha 90's. It's like also the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. It has a wintry-breeze and condusive to lovers. There are new establishments now in the area. I've been there lately and it amazed me all the more. I will also post my Tagaytay travel-joy, soon. Thanks for sharing, Boss.

Ang bugnaw niya sir kay Nov to January. Katong nangadto mi April pod to, gipang-igang jud mi. Wala pako kaagto sa namention nimu nga restaurant sir, but so far sako pagkamao, ang Leslie's ang duol sa Taal. Pero dili lang kay nako feel ila Bulalo. hehe
Bulalo bitaw ila ingon na lami didto wala pud mi katry. Lahi gyod sa Baguio ba kay murag all year round bugnaw.
