A perfect quote for the event I attended last sunday, February 20, 2022.

To those who don't know, I am a rider's wife. My husband really loves to go for a chill ride. And he joined many clubs already. And this club "Cebu Adventures Team" or also known as CAT Riders is what I love most. Because aside from they are friendly, what I love most is that one of their activity every 3 months is to do a mission. And this month, we joined one of the biggest "Charity Event."

And these were participated by the following organizations/group of riders. Sherwin Largo, the one who posted the event is our Team President. And from the group of riders of cebu, we joined as one for this cause and named the team as "ONE CLUB CEBU".

The team chose Carcar City as our recipient. To make it formal, a month before the said event, the admin of each organization go to the Mayors office and formally ask an approval for us to do the charity event.

We went there at 9am because the activity will start at 2pm.

We had our lunch at John Paul's Balbacuahan at Carcar City, wherein we had 10% discount since we always had our lunch here whenever we had our South Ride.

And we are now here in their municipal. We are waiting for the mayor and vice mayor because they will also go with us.

While waiting, we had a pictorial first by team.

After the pictorial, we then unload all our relief goods and gather it in one place. And we repack also because some of the donations were by bundle and was not repack. By the grace of God, we gathered almost 400 packs of relief goods that includes rice, canned goods, instant noodles and energy drinks.

When everything is ready, the mayor together with her husband who is the vice mayor arrived. They then gave their speech and is grateful that we chose their city as our recipients. And we are more than happy to share the people esp those people who were greatly affected with typhoon Odette.

We then went to the Barangay given to us, and by the Grace of God we had went to 2 barangays.

The event is so stressful and tired due to the heat of the sun but if you do it with a heart, you will not feel it because the happiness of your heart will prevail.

So happy upon seeing the people there happy and thankful upon receiving the small gifts that we share to them.
