Mathematics! A subject hate my most of the students. But Math is a lot of fun if you just understand the process of a certain topic.

Since I was Grade 4, I already love Math until highschool and until I decided to took an Education course majoring in Math. And now, I am already a Math teacher in a prestigious public school in our place. I am already teaching for 10 years already. And hoping for more years to teach in my alma matter.

Just last week, our school hosted the Math-Fair district level wherein we had prepared many contest.

Before we had the contest proper, we first had our opening program to welcome all the participating schools in our district. We also instruct them what room they need to go because we prepared one room in each category.

One of the activity is the Math Poetry. Math poetry is that the kids are given 2 minutes to read their piece. And they need to inline it with the theme. There are 4 contestants for the elementary and another 4 contestants in the highschool.

We also had Mathematician Look A-Like wherein the chance were given the chance to portray their chosen Mathematician. They need to follow the face and to act and speak like them. And they were given 1 minute to introduce thereselves as their chosen Mathematician.

Math Luto is a cooking contest wherein the kids are going to cook and should insert Math on it. They need to make a geometrical shape on it and they also need to get the proportion of each ingredients they made. The participants should prepare the details of their recipe because the judges will ask some questions.

We also had Math Digital Drawing, Math Craft, Mathik-tok, and Math Riddles and Puzzles.

After each category, they will proceed to the venue and awarding of certificates will took place.

To sum everything, the activity was indeed a successful one. And out of 7 categories, we had 5 first place and we we were now Road to Division Level.
