To what extent are you willing to go for love?

Have you ever been in love?

If yes, then you probably already know that it feels like everything. By that I mean, the happiness is there, the excitement, the thrill, the adventure, the laughs. But there is also sadness, pain, guilt, and sacrifices. One must be able to ride the roller coaster of emotions just to reach paradise.

There is no doubt in my mind that love is amazing. It feels great. But at some point, love can hurt. At some point, love can make you feel like the world is coming to an end. Are you willing to go through that?

Love is like a dose of life. As Rocky Balboa puts it, "The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place" Come to think of it, love is not like a dose of life, because it is a dose of life. There are ups and downs, positive and negatives. It could you make you feel euphoric or it could make you feel smaller than an ant.

You must realize that sacrifices are inevitable. To gain, one must lose. To love, one must hurt. Maybe it's the small things that bothers the other that would make you stop doing it. Maybe because the other gets hurt from a certain action which made you drop it. We all make sacrifices to make it work. Will you sacrifice to make it work? Are you willing to minimize hanging out with friends to prioritize your lover? Are you willing you give her the last piece of Jollibee chicken joy though you haven't eaten yet because she is still hungry? All jokes aside, I repeat, one must lose in order to gain, one must hurt in order to love.

Change is constant, struggle is unavoidable. As it is a certainty that it will happen sooner or later. But you must understand that true love does not begin when the feeling is strong. To me, true love begins when you start to feel the struggle and still be able to say, "I love you." and still be able to think, "I can't lose you."

So please, when you start to feel the love fading, don't stop. Give it a chance, that is when true love begins. Love conquers all. Trust in God. Put him at the center of your relationship and trust his plans.
