MOTHER'S DAY DESSERT: MANGO FLOAT
Being a child, our mother's hand has been our guide to the path that makes us who we are now. We celebrated mother's day to honor our dearest mother who will not by all means leave our side even in our hardest situation; who is always be our number one supporter. To commemorate this day, I made one of the most favorite and special dessert here in the Philippines and it is called "Mango float". Its my second time to make this dessert, since the first mango float I made was incorrect. So in today's blog I will show you the steps and ingredients I used in making this dessert. Disclaimer, this is my style and recipes in making this dessert, I am just a beginner, so if you want the accurate recipe, you can check it online or here
So to start, my ingredients are:
- 2 GRAHAM CRACKERS
- 1 CRUSHED GRAHAM CRACKERS
- 3 ALL PURPOSE CREAM
- 1 CONDENSED MILK
- 1 EVAPORATED MILK
- 1/2 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 1/2 kg MANGOES
- First I mixed all the wet ingredients to make a cream. you can also mixed it using a hand mixer for it to double its size. but unfortunately, the cream I make is more of a sauce than a cream.
Next step is to arrange the grahams in the tub and topped it with sliced mangoes.
Then I add and spread the sauce and seasoned it with crushed grahams.
Then to make a layer, simply I done it repeatedly.
Then Viola ! it is ready to be refrigerate !
To make something more special is to fill it with love. My mama enjoyed and scored me 100% in this dessert and I hope you guys have make your mama proud and filled with love today.
