Hello there fellow Steemians! I hope everyone is happy and healthy!

I have read of a new program posted by @steemitblog and was initiated by the Steemit Team, the #club5050 . I was very excited to join the club because I know this initiative is meant for the Steemit platform to flourish more by powering up but as I have read on the guidelines I felt doubts that I am qualified. Based on my understanding, to be able to join the #club5050 one has to balance his/her power-ups and SBD transfer, thus the name 50-50. That is why I have second thoughts if I can do this task because just right before the Steemit Team announces the club5050, I have traded most of my hard-earned SBD because I badly needed money at that time.

I really wanted Steemit to grow even more and I know club5050 is a big step to do this. I am thinking of how small steemians like me can catch up to this program.

After reading a lot of encouragement posts and various power ups, instead of being discouraged that I may not receive support, I will do my best to make most of what I got now. Because I believe that big changes start with small steps.

So in this post I will share to you my willingness to support the Steemit Community by powering up.

I recently joined Steemit last April and from that time I received a lot of love in my posts and in joining contests. This is not my first power up though, that is why I already have 147 Steem Power.

Here are the steps as to how I powered up.

With my remaining 0.524 SBD in my wallet I selected "Market" after I pressed drop-down arrow beside my steem dollars.

I am then directed to this page. And with my available SBD I get to buy 6.158 STEEM. I am very happy with this because I though I can only get 2 STEEM max.

Next I input my Active Key to confirm the transaction.

The transaction is successful and the STEEM that I bought was now added to my wallet.

With the available STEEM in my wallet I now headed to the drop-down arrow beside my STEEM value and selected "Power Up"

Then I am directed to this page. Here you are needed to input the amount of STEEM you want to power up. I did not hesitate to power all the available STEEM in my wallet.

Success!

I have successfully powered up my available STEEM and it was now credited in my wallet.

So from 147.570 Steem Power, I now have 158.415 Steem Power! Yehey!

I know this power up of mine is a small step but I believe that from this I can be of great help in this community. After all, we have been a beginner right?
