The Diary Game Season 3 (10-12-2021) | Online Shopping Find - A LEGO Table for Toddlers!

Back when I was pregnant and idealistic, I told myself not to buy anything unnecessary for my baby. But I ended up buying anything that I find cute, things that I thought that Matti would be able to use. True indeed, many items were of no use for Matti and ended up being given to some friends. But as he grows and is already starting to appreciate things, I found that he is now giving attention to those toys and stuff I bought before such as his flashcards which he just throws into his playpen. Now, he looks at them, describes the characters that are printed in those cards, I guess I just have to give him more time to appreciate these things.

Today's diary is about the new item I bought online. Online shopping has become easier these days, with free shipping and vouchers available, most stay-at-home mothers like me would just opt to get items online at the comfort of our room or house. I admit I have been binging on Shopee especially when it comes to items that are for Matti. I rarely buy things for me or my husband, it's all about the baby.

Now, let me share with you the item, this is called Building Blocks Table with chair for kids and it has 65 pcs of lego blocks included in it.

Aside from it being a lego table, the top can be flipped and it turns into a study table, there's a hollow part where legos or study materials can be stored.

It took a week before we received the table. I thought I was a big one but it turned out to be a small table but it is just enough for Matti and even if he turns two or three years old, he can still make use of this item.

Now, let me show you how the items were assembled by his father who was skeptical at first and would often comment that I have been buying our baby a lot of things while he only needs a few. Well, the truth is that Matti gets bored always, he often resorts to pulling out our charger cables and other electronics even wants to use my computer mouse! So I am looking for ways for him to get busy with other things and not with our electronics. Hopefully, this lego table would help!

There were two boxes sent, one which contains the two chairs and the lego pieces, all of these were packed in plastics separately while the other box contains the table. We opened the box with the chairs first and assembled the chairs too. These are really cute. I ordered the one set with two chairs so if in case Matti's cousin comes to visit us, she could also sit on the other chair.

The four chair legs fits perfectly into the seat and there were also two rabbit ears like back post rest, these were really cute looking.

Also, they added foams for the chair legs so it won't slid when placed on the floor. The colors as well fit well and although it looked weak, I was surprised that it was sturdy, we hold the ears but it keeps the entire chair.

Tadaa! The chair looks really cute! But Matti was not paying attention to that because his eyes were fixed to the lego set! He even asked me to open it but I told him to wait for the table as it was still in the box.

Now, it was time for the table! The box came with the rectangular white table that has a hollow inside, it also has the table legs and four more pieces of extended table legs as well as the lego top.

James just put all the foams in each legs and then inserted the legs into the table and that was it! It was pretty easy and straightforward that it didn't even come with a guide!

Finally, he placed the tabletop which has the lego base, this can be flipped and the other side is just a plain one which can be used as a study table.

Matti went ahead and sat into the cute chair. He felt very at ease with it, he asked for the lego pieces. The table set comes with four containers too which can be inserted in the sides and where the lego pieces can be placed as well so he can easily pick them up and put into the lego base.

If you'd ask me if this is worth the price? Yes, I can certainly say that it is worth the Php 899.

Now, Matti can watch his favorite videos on the screen while he is also busy with putting up creative lego designs. Well, the truth is that he is not yet able to make up patterns, he would just stick them and pick them up but it's alright, the table looks sturdy and he had flipped it a lot of times already yet it didn't break.

I also believe that this can spark creativity so as he grows, he would be able to take advantage of it and create his own. Plus, my husband and I also found it relaxing to assemble the legos to our desired form. The husband even commented that this was actually fun!
