The Diary Game : 12-28-21 | Making a digital Painting of Marian Rivera
Hello everyone! A good day to all, how are you guys? I hope everyone is fine!!
It's a great day for me since I'm going to share my latest digital painting to you again fellow steemians! This is a semi-realistic type of art, which I have learned from watching YouTube tutorials about digital painting, specifically on ibis paint X app! There are so many types of art and it's not easy to decide what type are you going to practice. And the result comes like, I have an inconsistent art type, they vary from time to time. From plain, to anime, to semi-realistic art and I don't really know what type do I really love. How about you guys, what types of art have you already learned to practice? Do your art type suddenly vary sometimes as well? Well, your art type may vary but that means you are creative! I just learned that thought from somewhere.
The whole process of this painting was uploaded on my YouTube channel. If you're interested about my art type and you wanna learn how to do it, I'll recommend you to watch my 8 min painting process and I hope you can get some tips there. :))
(Please scroll until the end and you'll see the final result in one canvas. Thank you!)
I actually had a hard time when I paint because when I add many layers, my storage will run out of space and the ibis paint X app doesn't function properly. Sometimes my art also corrupts and it was needed to be restored. So, yeah sufficient storage is needed for making digital arts.
I added a layer where I drew the outlines.
Second, base. This is where you start coloring the base color.
Next, painting time. You pick the color on the reference picture and and paint the part according to the colors using the pen fade brush. And that's how it is, as we see below.
Then blending time! I used airbrush for blending. Just paint it till the colors are blended. And that's how it is, as we see below. The forehead were still the blended part.
Then finish the face. Draw and paint the eyes, nose mouth and eyebrows.
And then here it is! Done painting!
I also saved the extracted black and white version.
And that's all fellow steemians! Thank you so much for giving a time to read and view my blog!
