View of Baguio from SM

Finally, my wife and I are able to go to Baguio City. However, we're unable to stroll in different places there except in SM City Baguio. It's just a short visit but at least we got to feel the ambience in the city again.

SM is the best place to have a view on the city. You can see the cityscape from there. There you can see the Burnham Park, as well as lake. Nearby is the Melvin Jones Park, while the Atheletic Bowl is hardly seen.

You can see the hills which are already concrete because houses are built there. It's an indication the city is already congested, and more trees has been cut down there.

The University of Cordilleras. It is one of the famous universities in the city. In fact, Baguio City has huge student population coming from other provinces because there are a number of universities there like University of the Philippines, St. Louis University, University of Baguio, Benguet State University (in La Trinidad though), and other colleges.

Burnham Lake up close, and as you can see, there are boats there. For sure tourism in Baguio is very mcuh alive now. The city has suffered badly during the last two years because of pandemic, and Baguio was known as a tourist city.

My wife and I are still planning of returning to Baguio City. I have a lot of places in mind to visit on our return:

• Camp John Hay (last time I've been there was 2015)
• Wright Park (been there last January 2020)
• Burnham Park / Melvin Jones Park (been there on February 2019)
• Mines View Park (the last time I've been there was January 2020)
• Ben Cab Museum (I've never been there)

Actually, we used to visit Baguio City a number of times each year. Since our conventions and assemblies are transferred to another city/town last 2018, we rarely go to Baguio since then.
