Philippines is a Home of Beautiful Waterfalls

Philippines is rich in natural resources and beautiful views and landscapes. It is also a home of beautiful waterfalls. I haven't been to the most popular ones but I already visited four waterfalls.

Maranum Falls

This is the latest waterfalls I had visited. It is located in the town of Natividad at the eastern area of Pangasinan. In fact, it is already at the border of Nueva Ecija.

Maranum Falls isn't that far from the town proper. You have to go for a trek probably more than a kilometer from the entrance. During my first time to visit there, I had panic attack because the path isn't something easy to deal with if you have anxiety. I'm happy that I made it during the second visit.

Taytay Falls

Taytay Falls is located in Majayjay, Laguna. We've been to Sariaya, Quezon at that time during the wedding of our close friend. They invited us to go to the falls the day after the wedding. I can't remember how long the trip has been. Going there, I got to see Mt. Banahaw which is geographically close.

There's one kilometer trek to the waterfalls but it's not that difficult because the path is concrete. I didn't bathe in the waterfalls though because I don't really have a plan. Just a visit would be fine.

Bolinao Falls 1

Bolinao has three waterfalls simply named as Bolinao Falls 1, 2, and 3. We got to visit only one waterfalls at that time which is Bolinao Falls 1. It looks beautiful but we don't have the chance to swim because we're rushing. It's just a short visit. You don't need a trek to go there. From the parking area, there's a stair and you will get to the waterfalls.

Dibulo Falls

Dibulo Falls is located in the isolated town Dinapigue in the province of Isabela. The way to get there is when we are at Dilasag, Aurora Province. There's no road connecting to the cities or centers of Isabela. It was a long trip to the waterfalls, as well as a long trip probably around 40 minutes.

The trek isn't easy because we have to cross several streams of water, rocky road, and climb huge stones. I can't even imagine myself climbing huge stones but I got the courage to do so.
