Homemade Pizza at My Brother's House

in Steemit Philippines2 years ago

My brother and his wife are celebrating their wedding anniversary at that time, and we're invited to come. Of course, we also decided to help in preparing the foods. Waiting for what we will do, my wife and I are given the tasks to prepare the pizza.

Of course, the dough is already prepared. It was already kneaded and prepared. Pizza sauce is also homemade. At least, we're protected from the effects of the instant ones which has preservatives. As long as you have lots of tomatoes, you can make your own sauce. In fact, I made one by myself back then during the lockdown.

We chopped the white onions and sliced the pepperoni. There's also a sliced pepperoni already, cheddar and mozarella cheese, and olives.

First, we spread out the pizza sauce, arranged the pepperoni slices, topped with cheese, olives, and white onions. I actually made a mistake. I should've have added more cheese after spreading out the sauce before pepperoni. It should've been cheesier. Bake the prepared pizza.

The table arrangement. Of course, we have other foods to eat, not pizza alone. I love the cutleries, plates, and the mats.

After the pizza was baked, top with basil leaves simply as garnish. At least it.contributes some nice aroma.

The advantage of homemade pizza is you have the choice to make it healthier. Of course, we cannot make it a hundred percent healthy, but at least you know how it's prepared compared to those that were bought from pizzeria.

One of the desserts. It was also homemade. My sister-in-law made it as a business, and the cakes are so delicious.

This is huge and thick. Sliced them according to your preference. You might opt to buy the sliced one too. It has walnuts so if you are allergic to nuts, better be aware. If not allergic, and this will make you eat a lot. It is crunchy, while chewy at some parts.
