Great One (Freewrite)
Music producer DJ Jedd had asked permission from Melanie and Centerstage Records to interpolate the chorus of the song "Greatness" on his song, which was released as a separate single which was entitled "Great One". The said single will add Melanie as a lead artist, not just a featured one. Knowing how popular DJ Jedd was, "Great One" entered the chart already at number 30 of the Hot 100. It was higher in UK where it debuted at number 10. It reached number 21 at Global Singles Chart. It has sold 170k on its debut week.
The said single with DJ Jedd will also appear on Melanie's upcoming album, which is still unfinished. Melanie was the guest at a popular radio station where she performed "Greatness", and she's very happy that she's promoting the new single as well as "Great One", and "When You Believe", which was re-released. She also mentioned "Finally" which is still ta the chart for more than 10 weeks. It has dropped to number 42 at the Hot 100, at the bottom of the Top 40 of UK Singles, and number 41 at the Global Singles.
With the interpolation of "Greatness" at DJ Jedd's remix, the original song climbed to number 48 at the Hot 100, and also a huge boost in UK at number 20, and number 28 globally. "When You Believe" is her highest chart placement among her four singles at the Hot 100. It fell to number 18 though, but it surged in UK at number 22, while not moving at the Global charts at number 20.
Melanie's "Special EP" received a boost for having four singles at the charts. It climbed to number 14 at the Albums 200, and up for 14 spots to number 28 at UK Albums, and experienced a return to the Top 20 of Global Albums Chart after selling 141k copies.
Her discography was updated with a lot of changes.

Melanie appeared in a business event where she was invited to perform. Of course, she was paid a good sum, and performed three songs: "When You Believe", "Finally", and "Greatness". One of the attendees, businesswoman Carl, caught sight of her. At the end of the event, he tried to approach Melanie but the crowd hindered him. He fell in love with Melanie. He's not fully aware of her being focused on business so he searched out about Melanie, and he's amazed how talented she is.
